De functie
As an International Trader, you will play a pivotal role in building strong relationships with suppliers and customers across the globe. Your responsibilities will include:
- Visiting suppliers and customers worldwide, establishing and nurturing valuable connections.
- Conduct negotiations for buying and selling activities, ensuring favorable pricing, specifications, and delivery conditions.
- Collaborating closely with administrative teams to handle documentation, transportation, shipping, and insurance arrangements.
- Exploring new customers and projects in diverse countries and industries, contributing to the development of our supply chain.
- Analyzing financial reports to establish new credit lines and ensure secure transactions.
- Monitoring market trends, industrial indices, and price movements to identify global business opportunities.
- Resolving claims and complaints with a balanced approach, combining technical and commercial expertise.
- Welcoming and coordinating internal and external visitors, ensuring smooth transportation and accommodation arrangements.
- Aligning your goals with the team's sales targets and providing daily reports to your manager.

To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Right, to work in the Netherlands (e.g., EU nationality, Dutch work permit).
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Abel to speak English and Japanese.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in email communication (Outlook) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all levels, management, and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Possession of a valid EU driving license for business trips.
The following skills and experiences are highly desirable:
- Proficiency in the Japanese language.
- Knowledge of other European languages, particularly Dutch and German.
- Experience in international trading with a solid understanding of trade terms.
